Sure hope you Sold your stashes of these guys!

Dominic Brown, once considered one of, if not THE, best prospect in Baseball has been out-righted by the Phillies.

C Tommy Joseph, the key to the Pence deal with SF, was also released.

Although both are FAs, it seems unlikely they'll be back with the Phillies Organization.

Imagine if the Phillies didn't make brown untouchable and the Halladay trade happened the summer before? Quite possibly have repeated and would still have d"arnaud

The Phillies trade 'returns' and the folks that they didn't trade have left the franchise in a muddy quagmire of destruction for years to come. I hope the return from the Rangers comes through as SOMETHING useful. Ugh ...

Thats why you dont prospect

Some guy has been holding Dom Browns rookie update platinum 1/1 and has listed it periodically for 499. I even went up to 150 on offers at some points and he still wouldn't budge. He's lucky to get a third of my offer now from someone

Thats why you dont prospect

The smarter prospectors sold either when he was first called up or when he went nuts in May '13.

The prospects that kill you most are the hyped players who never even break AAA or who flop immediately.

LaPorta, Montero, Burgess, etc.

I once traded a Montero Chrome Auto for a Bobby Orr Sign of the Times Auto....Still have the Orr as part of my PC. I never touched LaPorta or Burgess. I did do Dom Brown for a while and lost a little on him because I resold during the hot streak of 2013.
