Victorino suffered an oblique strain this evening. If he goes on the DL, which he probably will, guess who gets the call? Werth to CF, Brown to RF, and forget about the Werth trade... which is good, because if the game in Philly goes the way it should (9-5 Phils top 9), we're 3.5 back of the Braves and 2 back in the WC.

Re: Dom Brown to be called up.......probably.

Just heard that both Brown and Worley are NOT in the LHV clubhouse post-game.

Maybe?

I just got an offer of $325 on my Game-Used bat, so I think others are thinking the same thing.

Maybe they went out drinking.

No pitchers are injured; why would Worley be called back up?

Victorino on possibly going on DL: "I don’t think it’s that bad. I hope it’s not that bad."

Just reporting what I read from PhuturePhillies' twitter page.

Why the hell is Matt Kemp's scarf (in your sig) made out of Bison fur? How dare you! Next time I see you I will have to splash red paint on your fur coat  ;)

From Phillies Nationon FB:

Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com tweeted minutes ago that he's hearing Shane Victorino is headed to the DL and Domonic Brown will be called up to take his spot on the roster. If that's indeed true, what a huge move for this organization.

Owning absolutely no Dom Brown cards, I can actually enjoy a prospect doing well for my team rather than waiting for the exact moment to sell (by the way, NOW would be the exact moment to sell).

Will be wearing number 9!

Very excited. I can't wait for tonight. If I didn't have plans I would go.

I will need to get some tickets now.

Re: Dom Brown to be called up.......probably.

I hope he does well, but I honestly don't see how he will fit in with the Phills once Victorino comes back. I know that Werth is having a down year, but he is proven and a past all-star. I understand that everyone wants to see these prospects come up to stay, but I don't want this to a quick cup of coffee and then sent packing. People say that Werth could be traded to the Astros for Oswalt, but where would Werth play? Lee-Bourne-Pence. Astros OF sorta crowded. What teams need a RF? I honestly don't know and that is why I am asking.

All that being said, hope the Dommer kills it and stays up. Wish I still had my 4 Raw Elites, 1 Gem and my #/50. Oh well

~AJ
