I love this trade after getting to see him pitch. We gave up some pretty decent prospects, granted they weren't really players we could use, but now that I've had a chance to watch him, it's easy to tell that he is the real deal. Huge pickup for Detroit, he's going to have to be big in the playoffs if they want a chance to win, since Verlander unfortunately can't pitch every game.

From what I have read is that he is the 2011 AL Cy Young, AL MVP and has found a cure for male pattern baldness.

Good point, but it looks like we won't need him to as long as Fister keeps ******* opposing hitters like he has been.
