No it costs me 90 cents to ship a card in a bubble mailer.
Your mail clerks aren't doing their jobs correctly.
You are bound to keep getting screwed.

1-3 cards in a bubble mailer with a few packing peanuts to meet the 3/4 thickness requirement for DC will and should cost $2.80 every day of the week.
This is what every one of my bubble mailers cost EVERY DAY I Ship.

Or maybe your mail clerks are screwing you ;)

I use stamps.com, so I never go to the PO. I'm not worried.
It will come back to bite you. You see the posts on here about the PO charging people extra postage, this is the reason why. It is just a matter of time until your feedback or DSRs get dinged.

I'm really not looking to get in a debate about it. I've done close to 10,000 transactions since I've opened my store and not one time have I had a person complain about postage due. Plus I get bubble mailers all the time with postage of 90 cents, $1.10, etc.

I can say your post office is screwing up, you can say mine is screwing up. It doesn't matter. What matters is what I'm doing is working for me and my customers.

Why does Paypal only charge $1.64 for 3 oz and DC, then?

I ship through PayPal for everything these days, and a package 1-3 ozs and DC is still less than $2.00 - If you are charging your customers a shipping fee that should be enough to cover the shipping costs including the bubble envelope. Besides, shipping through PayPal can help prevent people from getting dinged on the shipping ratings.

Maybe its just me, but if I pay say $3 for SH and I get the card with no DC - I am dinging your shipping cost ratings. I know that a buble envelope is only $0.46 online + shipping is less than $2.00 with DC = Somebody is being a cheap ass and profiting from the shipping rather than adding DC.

To ship at the .90 or 1.10 rate the package is sent through the mail sorting machines. I noticed when I was researching shipping costs that if your package is defined as rigid/fragile/non-bendable/thick/irregular you need to be sending it through at the higher rate. Here's a link to the second screen of the large envelope pricing screen on the USPS home page

http://postcalc.usps.gov/LargeEnvel...ob=0&MailingDate=3/9/2012&MailingTime=8:00 AM

For a 3 ounce package if you don't select an option you end up at $1.30. If you select that the package is rigid you pay $1.95.

Check out his positive feedback. Only way to leave a note stating that he does not pay for most of his auctions and never communicates at all. Shoudn't be long before he is booted. Didn't pay for an Artis Gilmore auto he bought from me.

Same individual made an offer on an item of mine, I accept and then he wants a larger scan of the front and the back emailed to him and asks if there are any scratches on the card. I would think that these are things you would ask before making the offer. I have my doubts about his intent to actually pay for the card - seems like he may be trying to look for a way out.

m24giants. This idiot charged $2.95 for shipping and sent a Koufax /199 card in a regular white envelope with no protection. The card arrived with two big creases.

I am just posting this now but the transaction was from last may. I had shipping as $25 out of USA except Canada. He sent me an offer of $200 and then did not pay because he thought the shipping was included. Most likely buyers remorse but he was a pain in the ass to deal with. I eventually just canceld the transaction when I should have neeged him.

More reason to ban this guy. It is obvious he has buyers remorse.

There's a 7 day money back guarantee, right? That's part of the binding
contract, right? I'd like to return the card please and save everyone
shipping charges. Thank you.

Hit a BIN then never paid. I think I had a poor experience with this person before and got him blocked now.

Buyer id: djeckyll38

Sniped/bid on a lot of Alabama Crimson Tide Leaf base cards that I had up. Didn't pay within 3 days, didn't respond to subsequent messages, opened a case, didn't respond to the case...total waste of time. Only had 27 feedback. Regardless, block him if you enjoy getting paid. Wish there were a more interesting story to this, but alas no.
