colbytosidney is kind of a jerk. He posted dozens of cards, each at a $4.99 starting bid. I asked him if he would sell me one of his patch cards as a buy-it-now for about $20. He wrote me back and said he doesn't believe in ending auctions early. I checked on the card a couple minutes later and he suddenly had jacked the starting price up by 500% to $29.99. It was just on the one card I asked about too. He left the rest of his cards at their initial $4.99 starting bid. What an A-hole!

I am on his block list as well, for no good reason. I have NEVER not paid for an item on ebay, in over 10,000 transactions. I have tried to bid a bunch of times, and actually messaged him asking why I was blocked. He had no clue, but wouldn't lift it. Tool bag

Scum bag is more like it! And I probably just got added to his block list as well. I asked him why he raised the price of that card but I never heard back from him. If he left it at $4.99, I imagine it would've sold for more than $30 and I would've been glad to bid more than that to have it, but he just lost my business by pulling this crap.

:( Apparently I'm on this giant list of blocked people at Blowout. Anyone know who runs that thread so I can work on getting my name removed? I've been a pretty good citizen of Ebay, The Bench, FCB, COMC etc for a long while. A bit upsetting that I'm blocked by people when I don't know why/how/when... I just figured it out this morning when I was trying to buy some stuff on Ebay.

Thanks for any help/pointers here.

Dumb question but can the negative feedback go through if you refund the money, this is your first occasion of such an occurrence, and they can see all the communication between the buyer/seller?

Seems like it was an honest mistake and in the end both parties were made whole. No harm, no foul.

Then again, I don't know all the ins-and-outs of eBaying.

Just buy from someone else, that's what I do. I pay good money for cards I want, so if people are going to block me for stupid reasons, it's their loss. If it's a rare card that's hard to find, just make a second account on ebay and use that, problem solved.

Oh I know... it's disappointing to have my Ebay ID on a bunch of block lists from people I've never had any interaction with.

Anywhere Delta goes.
A couple of people to block, both newbees. Both bid and have not paid while paying other people, so they pick and chose. Just save yourself some trouble and block them.

He contacted me right after the auction ended and said he would be paying 6 days after the auction was closed. I never received a payment by the end of the 6th day so I contacted him with no response after 2 days. Filed the NPB and he never responded to it. He did leave feedback for another auction during this process so he was definitely logged in his eBay account.

I don't have a completed transaction with this seller, because he's done nothing but play games with one card I'm watching for a month now.

First, card was put up at auction at .99. I put a bid on it within a couple hours of listing. Next morning I get an email from the seller, which I have since deleted, basically telling me that if I won the card for .99, he wasn't going to sell it to me because he knows the card is worth way more. Now this is the morning after listing on a 7 day auction, plenty of time for more bids to come.

Later that day, the auction is canceled. Short time later, card is put up for auction again with a reserve. Card ends about $17, and apparently doesn't meet reserve.

Next day, card is listed again at .99, 7-day auction (no reserve this time), with a BIN of $30. Couple bids are placed, auction ended yesterday at about $26.

Card is listed again today, with a BIN only at 27.95 from the same original seller!

I check the bids from yesterday, and a new account 0 fb bidder placed 6 late bids to pump the card from about $17 to the final $26. Imagine that.

Seconded. Won 13 auctions from me, never paid for one. Had to take forever and a day to file the claims and get the credits, plus re-list them...

guy received the cards over two weeks ago...

Get this message today...

hi there. i just took both orange and gold belts i bought from you out of the plastic sleeves they came in, and noticed that there is a 1" long, 1/8" side sliver of plastic that cracked off the top right hand portion of the bgs case. the sliver is still in the plastic sleeve, which means that it got damaged in transit, as in the listing, the case was in perfect shape.

i'm informing you of this, to see if you can reimburse me the shipping, both ways, to beckett , plus the re-slab fee, as i want to keep this card.

let me know what you can do.

thanks,
AL

P.S. i just took pics of the card. i can send them to you if you want.

so, after two weeks you are just NOW noticing something wrong with the case? I told him after two weeks a lot could have happened to it, he could have sold it and gotten it returned in that time or dropped it himself.. I told him id offer him a refund..

Instead he offers me a negative and stops replying. His feedback looks like he has done it a few times lately.

AVOID seller 1of1Baseball.

I was browsing 05 Prime Patches cards a couple of days ago and noticed this listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180983680537&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123

I think we all know this is fake. I reported it to ebay, but also messaged the seller to give him a heads up in case he had been duped on the card. This is what I got in reply (I edited the swearing, otherwise this is a direct c&p):

"Hahaha what are you some kind of eBay cop? I bet you were picked on alot growing up. Guess what? eBay doesn't give a f*** and neither do I. Report that to eBay B****!"
