EBay gift card question

I sold a gift card (mlb.com let's say) and the buyer has paid.

He wants me to email the code first and then send him the actual card with delivery confirmation.

His feedback is fine and he says there's a sale ending before he would get actual card, which is the reason why he is asking for the code.

I was taken years ago with the million dollar topps codes even though I sent them through the eBay message system so that has no protection.

I did state in the auction I will only mail the gift card.

What do you all think?

I would sell it to him, and have him leave feedback before you sent the code..

Once you send the code, leave feedback for him..

I have done that in the past and if the buyer wants it bad enough, then he will do this..
