Ebay haters....
I actually read my feedback every time someone leaves it for me. And I do check my stars after each one. Although I cant tell how many stars they left for me in each category I can get an idea. Now I did talk to a friend about this a couple of months ago and he told me when there used to be retaliatory negative feedback he left a positive one word response and gave the seller 1 star for everything (to bring down their score). Fast forward to today. I had 2 sellers leave me feedback. My stars for item as described and shipping time went from 5.0 to 4.9 (I know not earth shattering but I do care  ) Which means one of the two who left me feedback left me less than 5 stars. If I go to shipping one paid on the 15th, the other 16th. and they received the cards on the 19th. The only way I could have gotten it there any faster would to get on a plane and hand deliver it. Which brings me to my point....
Ebay haters....If you don't like the s/h charge and you bid and win, does that give you the right to give the seller 1 star in each category? I am coming to find out the more I talk to people that this is a very common practice. If you look at the other categories "Item as described" I describe the card (year set, serial number etc) I NEVER describe the condition. I refer to the scan and ask questions. If you receive the card and its not "as described" why not send it back? So I think this category is BS. Communication, another BS category. I answer all questions within hours. Foe those who don't ask question what communication? You get an invoice. I even fill out the tracking number with eBay so you can see it. Which brings me to shipping time which is actually good, as well as shipping and handling charges. These two hold some water. The s/h charges seems to be the hot topic. If you don't like the s/h don't bid, or calculate it into your max buy price. So to make a long story short why do people not give 5 stars when a seller deserves it.? Why do buyers drop 1 star for all categories because he did not like the s/h price he agreed to?
Yes a rambling post, but it let me went!
Thoughts, comments, confessions.....
As a side note I leave feedback immediately upon payment. I don't hold feedback for "ransom" as some sellers do. (Again I found out about this practice from a buyer who even posted in my feedback that I left immediate feedback  )
