This is horse shat. Simple to understand that Ebay does not care about sellers. They never have.

As for myself, when shipping is for anything under 3 ounces, I charge $1.00. I ship the day after you pay, and I always use DC. I have never had a negative or any rating below 4.8.

Its only a matter of time before Ebay realizes the mess they are creating and then does something stupid again just to make things worse. If there was only some other real competition to Ebay...

Just curious...What exactly do you do for a living? Are you a lawyer? Do you have experience suing people? Have you ever needed a lawyer?

You might think Jeff is an *******...but thats just because we are all fourth grade schoolgirls.

I don't think that eBay understands itself. eBay is a community, not just a sales site. When you stop so many people from selling, you are in-turn losing buyers. So many eBayers use the funds they make on eBay ON eBay. What a joke they are becoming. They are cutting-off their nose to spite their face. I know I don't buy from big retailers on eBay, I buy from small sellers when it comes to anything but cards. Amazon is where I go for retail stuff that I can't find from small sellers on eBay. eBay will never be Amazon.

He didn't attack you, he was merely asking for clarification.

He's trolled me in other threads, Chris. It continues here.

Need to hit the foe button, I suppose.

Absolutely ridiculous. In all seriousness, you should sue them for setting a precedent, letting you sell for YEARS and then pulling the rug out from under you (thus hindering your ability to make money) by creating completely unfair and unrealistic protocol. It's COMPLETELY unfair business practice on their part and I hope someone takes action.

Sue them? Really?

It's their company. They can allow whoever they want to sell there, so long as it isn't for racial, gender, physical capbility, or sexual orientation issues.

I was under the impression that there were no laws limiting sexual orientation discrimination.

No federal laws. Plenty of state laws.

So Chris, how hard would it be to set up some sort of auction format program here? eBay has been around for so long, the ideal code for the auction programming can't be a secret or impossible to figure out.

I think I just got hit with a 1 or 2 cause people don't check their messages.

"quality, but combined shipping 2 collars in 1 box and charged for each! lame"

I refunded the shipping fees for one item the day I shipped. Plus sent them a message that I did so. ::facepalm::

There are a lot of idiot buyers and it's hard to avoid them all. Free shipping is now the only solution besides leaving ebay altogether.

I have asked this before...Ebay is a sponsor here, so he wouldnt want to become competition and lose them...I think that sums up what I was told when I asked this a while back.

I'm screwed come next year. A disgruntled buyer left me with 9 negs and all bad dsrs last week. I even won my case with ebay and they still restricted my selling. Oh well.

sad thing is that i dont have any negative or neutral feedback. they banned me based on a few dsr scores. and my average dsr score is 4.925. and that was not good enough.

This would be great. Everytime something like this w/ eBay pops up, it makes me think that there has got to be a way to get trading cards on a different and more understanding market. Maybe over time sites like Naxcom will pick up business, so hopefully this will help push a few more people in that direction. Either way, it seems like eBay is trying to compete w/ the likes of Amazon, and instead of shaving profits from their own margins, they are pushing their sellers to bear the brunt of the burden. If I was selling tens of thousands of items a day, I would gladly do free shipping and just make less than a dollar on every item and deal with it. Unfortunately, that's not an option for me. As it stands, I usually have to wait for card prices to double before I can make a decent profit on flips.
