Sold my 2011 Bowman Harper autograph and even though my shipping set-up says I only sell to the United States, a buyer in Taiwan won. It did not say US only explicitly in the auction but I double checked and if you click on shipping details it says US only.

To add to my question, I got a message on ebay from the buyers friend saying he has been asked to help with payment. Both the buyer and the friend have good feedback but something seems fishy.

What do I do at this point? Can I cancel based on my shipping requirements?

Any thoughts appreciated.

If it says US only in your auction, I would THINK that you could get out of it if you contact ebay. Additionally, I think there is some other step to take though in order to make sure that if they bid, it just won't go through.

If a "friend" is getting involved, that's bad news. That kind of crap always reeks of scam.

Friend paying = scam. Too easy to claim unauthorized account activity. I would start stating in your auctions that you only ship to the US just to avoid any confusion. Cancel transaction and relist or see if the second place bidder will bite.
