Why not just ask him through Ebay if he is a member here?

If your looking for references, ebay does provide pretty good protection for buyers.....just a thought.

Because he stopped answering his emails, but he is currently buying. Sort of a pain in the ass, he doesnt use paypal. He wants you to send a list of specific team inserts, autos, and parallels and haggles over them. Seeing if other member here have dealt with him. He sends a PWE SASE and cash in the mail, but his SASE typically has a 1st class stamp, and only pays the value of the card - not S&H.

Im not buying from him. Do you feel it necessary to question why people post what they want to on here?

It's just that if he is a pain-in-the-ass, then you won't find him here. Freedomcardboard.com is devoid of pains-in-the-ass (or is it pain-in-the-asses?) We are a community of love, care, giving, and friendliness.

Yeah he bought a card off me. I didn't really have any problems with him. Although I did tell that I didn't have any other met cards because I don't care for money orders.

I am pretty sure that is Dave Berman. He is a well known Mets collector and sells oddball stuff of players. I used to buy from him in the past, but he is very pricey. Always used to advertise in SCD. He didnt answer my last email about a month ago. Kingofodd correct?
