i've learned a lot of how to experience ebay in a positive way thanks in part to many of the people here - as sellers / buyers.
in a member's signature they mention an ebay seller that sends empty bubble mailers with delivery confirmation. seems like every time i read that statement, i ponder it for quite some time. not so much about that particular ebay seller, but the value of delivery confirmation as a buyer in an auction or say maybe even in a trade. other than a substantially weighted item, there really isn't a guarantee the item is in there. a lot of it has to do with the person you're dealing with.
this really isn't about someone forgetting to add the item to the package, but more so about the sender trying to swindle the other person. i'm not dealing with anything like this, i'm just curious about opinions.
what type of resolve is there for a buyer in this situation?
aside from damaged packaging upon receipt, i wonder if it's wise to start videotaping opening mail from now on just in case?
this topic was brought to you by...
"record yourself openning that package once/if it is received as it may be empty"( said on page 4 )
and by the letters B, W and the number 3
thank you for your time.
good luck, god bless and may the force be with you!
