Did they used to use the word "prime" in this product? It says jersey on the card. I've never seen a Ruth patch and the flip side is why would anyone want to tamper with such a nice card knowing that someone can spot fakes and report you to ebay?

The seller has all the earmarks of being a patch faker...Muhammad Ali Pro Line auto, *** autos of Ali, Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton, Topps Rookie Premiere autos of the top NFL players, Emmitt Smith Star Pics and Collector's Edge autos. Plus, check out the Topps Marquee patches in the completed listings. This person has sold multiple quad patches of the top guys /199 when other cards of those guys only have 1 or 2 patches. There are 10 Pujols /199 in the completed listings; 8 with one patch each and 2 with four patches sold by this guy and another that I think is fake.

I agree, he has sold the same few cards multiple times and some of those patches are not real

Not sure how a 0.5" rounded corner of blue implies that it's a piece of the '3' on the back of the jersey.

Is there anything even on a Yankees jersey that has a convex curve? The NY logo has concave curves and the lettering and numbering are all straight lines are they not?

So...fake appears to be the winning answer.

Yeah I pretty much agree with what everyone has been saying. To my knowledge, the 2001 FOTG #/21 is babe ruth's only patch card that isn't a 1/1 or /5 card at the very least.

JEBJJA-This card sells for $200 max with a regular pants piece, maybe $220. The last legit ruth patch #/21 sold for $2,800. That's why people fake them

Up to 1K with over three days left. Of course an authentic Ruth patch would go over 2K, but I'd expect pretty much all high-end patch collectors out there to be well educated on the really high-end ones and be able to tell a fake from the real thing. I sent the guy a message and reported it to eBay. I hope he doesn't get away with it assuming he is the one who faked it and didn't buy it fake
