If you don't have a max. number of acquisitions, pick up pitchers with great matchups or that are on fire. I've done that in two leagues and came back from being down to being up with today left.

Keep 1, maybe two aces if you have them, but drop and add starting pitchers daily!!! You will win W, K, guaranteed!

Unfortunately we have 6 pitching categories including WHIP and k/9, that strategy really doesn't work well in our league. Which, personally am happy it doesn't work.

We have those as well, and IP. the k/9 is actually one i still win in the playoffs usually, and usually give up ERA and WHIP, and hope their pitchers blow up like nolasco.
