So the time is upon us, Roger Clemens perjury trial back in the courts. Assuming the prosecutors aren't total morons again and don't completely slap the judge's face again, this should be a pretty interesting case.
The prosecutors certainly have drawn up a great looking bunch of names for potential witnesses. Over 100, with guys like Bonds, Selig, Canseco, Peter Gammons, Pettitte, etc.
Unlike the Bonds case, Clemens has a lot of apparent "evidence" stacked against him, along with available witnesses.
Clemens has certainly dulled in virtually everyone's eyes of the past few years, and this trial certainly won't brighten that fallen star I wouldn't imagine.
It's a shame that the timing is the beginning of the baseball season, but I would love for Selig to get on that stand and mutter some crap about not knowing drug use was as rampant as it was, all the while he averted his eyes as the wallet got thicker.
