So i got a promotion last week. But they pushed it back for a 4 weeks due to how bad the department i am is. =(

At least my pay raise will kick in regardless.

So I get word tonight, The next 4 mondays we will have 30 minute lunches.

Starting Jan 4- jan 16th we will have to work 30 min lunch everyday and come in an hour early or stay hour late EVERY day. Wtf is wrong with these people!

I work at Wal-Mart and I wouldn't be overly surprised if a couple days next week are like that (the 30 minute lunch deal).

Are you paid hourly or are they trying to squeeze all the work out of you they can? How long have you worked there? I'd postulate that maybe the extended hours are due to people needing more tech support after the holidays.

We get hourly. One thing that is good that even though im not moving departments, Jan 4th, I still get my raise. So thats a plus.
