Good morning.

It's the wife's birthday today, so once I wake up this afternoon I'll be taking her kayaking out on Lake Washington and then to dinner. Keep an eye out for any killer Locker cards for me!

Had to deal with the wrath from the wife about my snoring. Took the plunge and bought one of those anti snoring mouthguards. See if it works.

 I feel your pain, my wife hates when I snore too. I don't know if it was the pillow top matress, but when we were in Vegas I was snoring LOUD. To save money, we shared a room with her brother, so I had 2 people pissed at me for snoring so loud.

I just bought one of these on a recommendation:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001KPLVEI

A couple of negative aspects (a bit of a sore jaw in the morning seems to be the biggest complaint) but reduces snoring by about 85%

When I get it in and try it, I'll give you my take on it. Says you need to give 3-4 nights to give a full chance to get used to it.

If you can get your money back, do it man. I used one for a couple of months, and the only thing that changed was a sore jaw in the morning. I went and got tested for sleep apnea, and the tests showed I was waking up 48 times in an hour. When they say "wake up," it's not like you're fully awake and conscious, but your sleep is disturbed. I stopped breathing quite a bit too. I got a CPAP machine, and the strangest feeling ever was waking up the next day after using it the first time. I had no clue what a good night's sleep felt like until I had one of those. It takes some getting used to, and my friends love making fun of it, but I can't imagine how crappy I would feel had I never wound up with one.

I have the TTB snoring. Its where my tongue slides back and makes me snore through my nose. CPAP machines dont work for that. The only thing you can use is one of these mouthpieces that move your jaw about a half inch forward.

What if you slept on your stomach then? Maybe gravity would help?

Long story short I was offered a job at Aflac yesterday. The manager is close to my age and you can tell he is still driven for success. Biggest concern is the fact that it is commission based. We have money saved to get us through for awhile but still debating. It is certainly a situation where I could look back in 5 years and say it was the worst decision or best decision I ever made.

What's going on everyone? Think I am going to have my first ebay dispute coming up shortly. Bought two cards for the set I am going after in August and they haven't arrived yet. Tried contacting the seller about it earlier and I got nothing back.
