honestly, the thing that pointed me to those auctions was that guy who made the paypal dispute against him for mislisting the cashner lot lol

Man, Magnet. I just caught up on the evening's happenings and that guy is seriously nuts. He doesn't live real close to you or anything, does he? He really needs to take a couple deep breaths and calm down. I don't think he's going to get the chance though what with all the people sending him stupid questions. :lol:

He's in MD, I'm in PA. I'm not sure of the distance exactly, but probably 5 hours or less.

Eh, not too much of a threat of him coming by your house then. I hope, at least.

It seems like we've been getting some newer members around here who post a mailday or two and then disappear off the face of the earth. Meh, I guess maybe it's for the best. It seems like the regulars are all good people and maybe if they decided not to become a regular they just weren't good people.

I don't mind gift, but it all depends on the situation. If I'm receiving or sending to somebody I know well, sure I'll do gift. I may do this once or maybe twice a month. However, anything else is regular. It sounds like this guy was doing a TON of gift payments as he says he was doing business on 'multiple trade sites.' I don't understand how you can get upset at them taking away a feature that he obviously abused.

He does abuse the gift option over on BO, I know that much.

I never ask for gift payment and i've only ever done gift once because I paid the wrong amount on that deal Tito set up for me.

Only reasons I don't use it are 1) no protection as a buyer 2) can't print a shipping label as a seller. And, obviously for that as well

Magnet, I get this mental picture of the Nore super seller in my head after reading about all the stuff he sent. I figure he's probably white, as he doesn't seem to like people of other races too much. I just see him as this skinhead living in a small rancher, pacing back and forth in his living room with a gun in his hand. He's fuming about the fact that you 'stole' his card and after drinking a sixer of Pabst he begins beating his wife for sending the card out without DC. He then heads out to the bar, but makes sure he gives the dog a swift kick on the way out the door.

While #1 is as valid as they get, you can print shipping labels with paypal for anything. I use them occasionally for trades and the like if I don't want to head to the PO. Here's the URL:
