What would be the best way of picking up inventory to start my online shop I don't have a ton of spare money laying around so would it be a good idea to get some type of loan?

Oh Magnet has more than enough time for a website bud.J-Rod said:Well here is my plan/goal I move to Washington middle of July so by August 1st if I can get a name and magnet has enough time to do a website I would like to open up an online beckett store with a separate website (which magnet is making). Along with this I want to do shows on the weekends so I would want to have some nice high end of all sports and a good amount of wax(which I am working on with a supplier right now) So I know I can buy and sell singles at a good rate as I have kept track of everything since January but to buy a shat ton of singles and carry wax I know I don't have the money for so I am thinking I need some kind of loan
That's pretty good advice.deceptikon1978 said:A grant would be great if you could actually get one. You are pretty savvy with buying and selling J so I wouldn't get a loan for the online store. At least wait until you open up the real shop.
My 2 cents.

Thanks. I hope so too. I'm sure it was just a simple mistake since both cards are from the same year and set, just different types of jerseys.PhillyPuckNut said:Nice Senior Bowl jersey. I hope he makes things right on the Sosa for you.I posted my mail in a seperate thread.

One thing you'll want to think about is if you get a loan now just for online inventory, then when you go to get a loan to get money to open your brick and mortar shop, you've got that loan hanging over your head on your credit report. Now it might not affect you, but there's always a chance that it could cause you to get a higher interest or a lower amount on your second loan.
Also, I don't know if you're going to own a home then, but do not take out a second mortgage on the home for the shop
