You could if you could get your hands on the daily sales data from eBay and create databases.I had a friend trying to develop something similar a few years ago. He gave up pretty much before he got started.

I do chime in with the others that its hard to pick one color refractor over another.
I may have an idea on teh Jared Mitchell golds outperforming the lower refractors, Guys like Wossa and other big money collectors identify the "it" guys and don't mess around with anything below a blue. Therefore there can be a disparity between the elite autos and the lower autos on "it" guys that isnt' there on a non elite guy.
This in itself is also noteworthy and worth watching.
