I hate the stoppage but won't complain. Only reason this doesn't depress me more than it does is because it was Henderson.

I'll just focus on the good and remember the glory days of Fedor and Pride.

At 1st i was upset also, but after the replay you could see Fedor went limp. The ref has to stop yet. What i dont get and maybe someone can help me with this. When henderson had him upaginst the cage,Fedor just stands still and lets Henderosn control the clinch. In the past he would setting up a move your striking back someway.

He is still my fav fighter, its just hard to watch him lose like this!

It was a great fight. I think what led to the losing streak was not age but quality of opponents (previously). I dont care what sport/game etc you play, if you go against guys that have no chance for a while your game gets gimmicky and full of swindles. By the time Fedor fought his last 3 fights, he was used to pushovers and didnt bring anything new.

Henderson has TONS of film, so I was surprised by the ending. You know he is trying to sneak out the back door there. Looks like it was going to be the same flailing finish he tried to do on Werdum, but Hendo went out so quick. Fedor had to of thought he was more damaged than he actually was. Looking at the replay it almost looks like Dan goes down before he really had to, which is genius because if he tries to stay up another punch is coming to take him out.

Fedor can still come back. So many fights of his went 1 minute I think his brain doesnt have much damage.

Not a fan of the quick stoppage, but not going to complain. It was a great fight all around. Henderson is a class act, they're friends, so it's all good. And Fedor didn't look bad. There's still gas in that tank. But he HAS been fighting for over a decade, so that has to take some sort of toll.

I think the situation with Fedor is tough with the amount of money he makes. He's still a good fighter but just not an elite one. Since he's making so much money he really can't fight on anything other than the headliner. I doubt Strikeforce is willing to run him out against lower tier HWs just to see him win. Its a shame that a lot of novice MMA fans aren't getting see a prime Fedor. Its scary how good he was back in his Pride days.

Same with Wand. He has the worst UFC record ever.. new fans must see him as a joke if they havnt seen the wars he has been in.

I just saw on ESPN in the ticker that he has been released...that might aid in a retirement decision.

Jon Jones has not accomplished anywhere near what Fedor has.

Anderson is the top dog of mma right now, no question. Jones needs a few more big wins.

I agree with Ty. He needs to go on an impressive winning streak defending his title before he can even be considered.

And I still think Shogun can beat Jones.

Jones does need some more wins for sure, but he would whip Shogun again.I would love to see Silva/Jones fight, that would be great!

yeah he needs a lot more wins. Bader was an overrated joke. That means Jones has beat only one elite guy.
