Awesome story and event.

Always glad to hear a player collector gets to meet the guy they collect and the player is very nice and cordial.

I think I like the UD Game Jersey the best.

Great story! Those are all nice PC items.

Out of thousands of cards, why did you pick the Jones/Gomes, anything special about it?

That's going to the Gomes collector...he sent me a PM asking me if I could grab it for him.

Congrats on the autos and great experience! I am extremely jealous. Maybe I will get a chance to meet him one day as well. The full 1st HR ticket looks great!

I got to meet him a few times in Surprise for Rangers Spring Training and I was pleasantly surprised about how kind he is. Good stuff!

Okay, so I am not a fan of the Monopoly piece...but that's me. Besides bats, hats, jerseys, I think the autos look best with pictures! That's why I always go for 8 x 10 and 16 x 20s!

That being said, I could not be happier to hear about a positive experience from a player collector meeting the player! I think that puts a little more emphasis on what you do. Makes it way, WAY more special. I have seen hundreds of guys PAYING for autographs of their "favorite players", waiting in lines for hours sometimes, just to have the athelete never even look up, "no pictures", or "I can't sign that" or "keep it moving"... Makes me sick thinking about it.

From one player collector to another: Congrats! Out of all of the "stuff" you collect, that face to face meeting sounds like one positive exclamation point to a great (and growing) collection!

Nice to hear you had a great experience. Really like the Nixon. He was always one of my favorites when he was with the Braves.

Great poster AJ. I was thinking about getting the actual game signed but went the monopoly route instead. Good luck getting him up there!

That really isn't a poster. It is a hard plastic light cover. Like the game promo the video stores put up when the game came out. Really wish I knew about it earlier. That is the last item I have left from my Andruw PC. I had a 3 row super shoe box full of his stuff. No dups. Sold it all when I was in a pinch and he was hot hitting 50 bombs.

Very cool experience and congrats. I ran in to him (Andrew) one time in Buckhead at a place called the Pink Pony. The bartender said he was a regular there and he was cool with everybody, taking pictures w/ people and signing autographs.

I've seen a lot videos and pictures of him at various clubs from his playing days in ATL....He always looked like he was having fun and being social. I think there are couple vids of him on youtube where he's doing shots.

WOW that must have been a great day for you!! You are very lucky, as many player collectors never get to me their player and if/when they do it doesn't always turn out as great as i it did for you. Im still waiting to meet my player some day (Marc Andre Fleury/Hockey). Those are some great autos and the inscriptions are just icing on the cake. Got a pic of Andruw today that you can post? maybe him signing?
