I decided to finally purchase the card I have been after for some time. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I understand what you are saying. However, the card seems to rarely pop up for sale and given the super bowl, brought a couple of opportunities for some of us. Thanks for the feedback.

On card autographs of two of the greatest quarterbacks in history and a beautiful card! As far as the price it's not a bad price in my opinion as I've seen copies sell for more. You never know what might happen with a PTT auto. It just depends on the timing involved and who has the money to spend. At the end of the day there are only 100 copies of the card and more and more of them are going to be locked away for years in private collections. The Payton/Sanders easily clears $2K and has been tracked at pushing $3K in the past few years. Personally I am surprised that the Unitas/Manning has not broke $2K.
I'm hoping to "pull the trigger" on a Manning card I've wanted in my collection for quite awhile. Keep the fingers crossed!

I just looked to see if I still had the data from past sales of the card. I stopped keeping up with it in the spring of 2008. At that point the lowest sale of that card was $1,477. A copy of that card also sold for $1,925 raw in the time I was charting them.

Here is one Burge just sold - real or fake? The Unitas looks off.
