I really like aka and think he is a very valuable member of the boards, but there is one thing that i hate/think is a big no-no on a MB and that is posting a PM. Its a Private Message, intended for only the sender and receiver to read, not everyone. With that said, cant wait till aka is back

and even longer on the old place.

I got the boot for over 6 months on Beckett.

I was actually a year, but I had my sentence reduce for time served
I received a day for a day. LOL

I agree rules are rules, but why is it so bad for Coastal to once in a while post something on the baseball board trying to increase trafic to the basketball boards?

I would think a goal of the site would be to increase interest in the other boards. I am getting the feeling that is not the case. I guess I don't understand why such a strong PM had to be sent

It would be one thing if it was just a singular PM. I am under the impression that it was just one in a series of strong PM's between both parties.

Others have been suspended for posting PM's - it is a practice with no exceptions. You aren't a moderator and do not know both sides of the story so please do not presume to decide sentences. AKA will be back before you know it.

But people themselves have to be intrested, not just through contests. I know I wouldn't like Hockey, Baseball, or Football posts in the basketball forum.

The baseball board is for baseball. AKA constantly promoted basketball on there and Gilmore had enough. While staying on topic has been a scoff law for awhile now, it is still a guideline.

I understand the suspension too based on the posting of the message.

However, what is wrong with occasionally using the baseball board to try to increase activity in FCB's other areas? The baseball area is the only place that is consistently busy, so it sounds like a very logical place to try to get people to go to the other sections of FCB.

I certainly respect your opininon. When i first joined the site, after the fiirst few weeks, I stopped even looking at the basketball board because there was very little traffic. Thanks to Coastal posting on the baseball board (and i feel he has been doing this far less lately) I started visiting the site much more. At this point I spend more time on the basketball board then any other. I can thank Coastal your getting me back on the site, and you and others for keeping it interesting.

I have no problems with anyone on this site, or the site as a whole. I however feel at times if you are not on the baseball site posting about baseball, you don't matter and are really not wanted. No need for anyone to argue this ponit. It probably is not the fact, but that is how I feel.
