Holly Snikies! $1,136.43randyherth said:So, a new, fun listing on e-bay popped up a couple days ago, which originally had a BIN of $750, and a starting bid of $0.99, for the 1992 Stadium Club MC card of Frank:
http://cgi.ebay.com/1992-FRANK-THOMAS-E ... d083&vil=1
The description states that the book value of the card is $1,136.43. Even more interesting is that my e-mails I think drove her to have someone with zero feedback bid it up for her. Anybody have the guts to see how much this person has bid?? I couldn't resist and e-mailed the seller:
Dear babygurl0529,
I am very interested to where you got the value of this card. You may want to look at closed auctions, as this card would not sell for $1 with free shipping. The book value of this card is less than $1.00.

Dear toohot1999,
http://prices.sportslizard.com/ is where i got the value and it is correct

Dear babygurl0529,
That website has got to be some kind of joke. Your item will not sell for $0.99.....same with the other cards like Ripken and Avery. They made millions of these cards in 1992.

I can't figure out how or why I have been blocked from making an offer, as I do not seem to have any transactions with him. Is he perhaps a member on the board?

to that page?

If interested I just posted some 1993 and 1994 Topps (Baseball) Black Gold lots on eBay. Some Frank Thomas and more.
What I would give for the 1994 Topps ABCD card!
Why does it seem so easy to find the 1993 ABCD, but so very hard for the 1994 version? Were there a lot less?
