Glad to see you picked up that '08 UD Masterpiece "on-card" auto! :) How's that Heroes rainbow coming? Got a Sea Green (/99) up on the Bay right now.

Called UD customer service and gave them props for still having "on-card" auto's (last years Masterpiece included). That is one sweet Thomas card with the......unghhhhh Blue Jays patch

LOL...I'm tempted to take a silver paint marker to the Blue Jays patch so it looks more like a Chi Sox patch :D

Rainbow is coming along slow. There is a few on eBay right now that I still need.

thenumberonemetfan: Thanks man. It looks like sticker residue under the sticker. Can't really tell in-person though.

tpeichel: Thanks for the offer. Not really into the oddballs all that much though.

Here is some more of yesterday's Frank Thomas mailday. Taking me forever to go through them all and sort them.

Cobra,
I can't get over how much awesome Thomas stuff you have amassed. That 97' silver embossed refractor set you back an obscene amount of $$, as I was one of the bidders on that auction. We bid on many of the same auto's and GU'ed pieces, but I do not believe I have won an auction over you yet!

For anyone out there that is interested in selling, I am currently collecting all Frank Thomas cards between 1987-1996, and am currently at about 70%, as well as rare non-1/1's from 97/98 & multi-colored GU'ed and autos from all years.

In particular I am interested in all artist proof's, press proof's, gold signatures, refractors, First Day, etc, etc for 1993-1996, and all 1998 pinnacle bankruptcy cards of Thomas. Please feel free to send me a message of what you are selling, and let's work a deal!

It was alot of fun. Brung back alot of memories. As to where I found it....A big-time Thomas collector started parting out his collection about 1.5 years ago. I purchased large chunks of it over time and this was the last of it. There are some other items not in the pic. About 15 magazines w/ Thomas on the cover, a 8x10, some starting line-up's, Highland Mint silver coin, etc. There turned out to be alot of great cards in the lot, and overall I am very happy w/ it. It would have been nice if he shipped everything in 2 big boxes instead of 6 medium boxes so shipping didn't cost so much (actual shipping was $82!).

You can call me Milton
Does anyone need a 1994 Finest over sized Fran Thomas #203?

Would like to send it out to someone who doesn't have it in their collection.

If there's more than one person I'll have a contest or something for it.
Thanks
Josh

First rainbow I've completed in a looooooooooong time. You and I have had discussions about how we're short one from a run, but facing the irony of the 'last piece' being the base or lowest level insert. Not always, but it does happen. This one took 11 years, but I only focused on finishing two or three years ago. Still, three years for the base Inverted - yikes!

For anyone interested - you're looking at six different cards. The top three are the 'Regular' Mirror Images. The bottom three are the more difficult 'Inverted' versions. You can tell which version you have - Inverted had a larger rookie image.

They look great together! I'm not even close to finishing that one. I will prob finish it in about 9 more years. That was the base inverted you needed? I was thinking it was the refractor. Oh well, sometimes ya gotta bite the bullet and pay tha man.

2001 Topps Archive Gold: Damn, I never even knew those existed. Anyone know the difference between these 2? Also, kinda hard to tell in the scan but it looks like most of the border is gold foil?
