I'm curious if anyone happens to have or know the whereabouts of any of these cards:
2005, 2006, or 2007 Bowman Chrome Superfractor
1999 Century Legends 'MVP' 1/1
1996 Select Certified Mirror Red or Blue
1997 or 1998 Donruss Preferred Precious Metals

These are tops on my Thomas wantlist and I'm just curious if any are already accounted for by these collectors.

All but the '99 Century Legends are in members collections. The Century Legends may be too, but I can't confirm that.
Is this the '99 Century Legends cause if it is Lance has it. I remember him beating me in auction for like $60 bucks or some low amount like that when I just began to get back into collecting.

So yesterday I bought a sealed boxtopper from a blaster of 2010 Topps Baseball.
I will let the scan do the talking, thanks Topps!

Are they sewn on, or is it some sort of glue?

It's glued on. I received a Sandberg patch so badly off-centered, I gently peeled it off and stuck it back on.

The thing that sucked was the guy I got the sampler from didn't know where the other 2 cards of Thomas went.

Well guys...just finished going through all 185 pages of this thread. This was the 3rd time i've done this, & I find stuff I missed each & every time. Kinda feel like an azzhole going back though & seeing questions that went unanswered, cards posted that went w/out a comment, etc.

Ross: I know I already commented on your NNOF...but damn....that thing is sooo nice! Congrats again man!

Justin: Nice find on the Superstar Sampler & CTG AS sealed set.

Thanks Chad, I feel really lucky. The guy who picked up the seller's other PSA 9 copy told me it had a touched corner. I'm really glad I got the one in the old slab that's basically a razor. I'm going to do my best to get PSA to recognize the top/bottom centering is standard on these things and maybe get it into a PSA 10 slab. I've never seen a copy with better centering than the one I was able to pick up.

Justin, how much did the guy end up letting Finest SS Sampler go for? I offered him $18 a long time ago and he rejected it. Ended up picking up an open set for around $35 recently though, so it all worked out. I'd like to find a sealed set one of these days. I always go through stacks of '94 Finest, SC, and Bowman, just hoping I overlooked a SS Sampler logo...no dice as of yet and none have ever been listed on COMC. I'll let you know if I can find any of the other singles.

I ended up hitting the $5 BIN for it. I thought that was a good deal since there was only one other listed on ebay and the other guy wanted $60 for his.

Kind of cool. I was going through that rookie season baseball media guide (only 2 pics of Frank, team photo and headshot) and after checking out Auburn's schedule, I found that Frank's very first away game as a college baseball player was in Statesboro, GA (yes, Statesboro Blues).

This is special to me because the team was in the 'boro playing Georgia Southern University, my alma mater.

Interestingly enough, Frank was in Auburn on Saturday as part of the 1st Honorary Auburn Wall of Fame Class.

Not a bad deal at all, great deal in fact. I thought you got it from the guy wanting $60; makes sense that you didn't get it from him. He doesn't want to move it.

Nope not him. Some other guy had it on eBay for a day or so. He had lightning fast shipping too (2 days to get to my house since I paid him). So I thought it was a good deal all around.

Someone had mentioned Thomas showing up on other players cards a few pages back and I remember that he is on Albert Belle's 1999 Ultra card.

Great thread guys, nice cards all around!

Will, thank you for that! That's the first card I've seen with a Big Frank cameo in which he's not credited.

Also does anybody know what games Frank played as a football player in '87. I was thinking it might be cool to try to get a ticket from one of those games.

I've been trying to get tickets to Frank's games with receptions for many years...I've never seen any on eBay or any of the ticket sites. Years. I have probably 5 saved searches for them plus general daily searches.

I'm also a member of several Auburn fan sites, ticket sites, so on...no luck. I do have some programs from the games, but that's really a waste because they don't refer to his performances obviously.

Honestly, I don't want to go into any more detail because this is a project I've been working on for the day I unveil BigHurtHOF.com. I have a lot of documentation, including newspaper clippings put together to support the information though.

There are 2 1987 Auburn Football tickets for sale on eBay right now. I was just wondering if anyone knew which games , if any, he played in for football.

None in 1987, he was injured and by the beginning of the season he decided against football all together. He had playing time in a lot of games in '86, but only 3 receptions on the year.
