What is the clipped Statistical Standouts card? Is that the promo version? If so, where did you find yours at?
Its the promo and I bought it off eBay. Heres the back.

Hi, I'm new here and wanted to know how I can post a reply message within a post instead of starting a new post all together. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Cheers! :)

There have actually been 3 or 4 to sell in the last 3 months, most notably a PSA 10 copy that sold for less than $20.

Rad! Thanks for the Tip BoB. I just got done reading your thread on Collector's Universe regarding the 1990 Topps FT NNOF theory. Very interesting and incredibly impressive indeed. Great job on your research!!! Amazing stuff :)

Thanks Patrick, it has certainly been a fun project, but all I can be credited for is throwing out an idea. Thankfully countless others ran with it.

Sigh........I must have been blind thinking they were just the normal versions.

Well at least you know you need to look for it now and that there are 3 less Thomas collectors you have to fight over the next one that comes up.

Welcome Patrick!

I got a couple of questions. First, does anybody have any info on the 1996 Topps Promos? How hard are they to obtain? Who is in the set besides Frank? How were the distributed?

Second, I noticed that the 1997 Bowman's Best Mirror Image Refractors have 2 versions (I know what you're thinking, I'm not talking about the regular and inverted variation). I noticed that there are versions that say "refractor" and ones that don't (both are refs). I believe the atomics and inverted refs also have both versions as I have seen them of other players (don't know about the inverted atomics). Anyone know anything about this variation? Which is harder to obtain?

I'm not sure how hard they are to find, but the only one I recall seeing was one that I won either late last year or the beginning of this year for a few dollars. I wouldn't have even noticed if I didn't notice that the picture was from 1995 Stadium Club.

Does anyone think a rare Thomas card could have commanded anywhere close to this in the early 90's if e-bay was around?

I hope that whoever wins this sells it to another sucker quickly.......I wouldn't want to be the one that loses thousands and thousands of dollars! Anyone remember the 1992 Brian Taylor Topps auto?

Of course I'm always on the lookout for stuff I don't have. More Currently trying to knock out all of the Artist('s) Proof Cards from the 90's. Some are tougher than others of course. Other than that, always in search or rare parallels. When I figure out how to add pics to these threads, I'd love to share with you a few cards I picked up this year. Any suggestions on how that works would help me out a great deal 8-)

This is actually pretty funny, I went to bid on this exact card last week and my internet locked up and by the time the confirm bid window finally pulled up, the auction had ended. Somewhat upsetting but hey, I'm glad it's in good hands :)
