Morning all! Bennett had his ultrasound today and did really well with it. Wasn't sure how it was going to go with getting a 5 year old to drink 16 ounces of water in 20 minutes, but he did it.

Well, we got some answers as to why Bennett has been having issues. They only saw one kidney in his ultrasound. Said they've never seen it where this wasn't caught while doing the ultrasound during pregnancy. Definitely helps us understand why some things have been the way they are though

Apparently! Doctor said they've never seen it caught this late before, but I'm also in the middle of nowhere. They are wondering if the specialist on Tuesday might be able to see an undeveloped one, but the 'right' kidney is definitely bigger than normal since it has to compensate for the lack of the left kidney. Also means no contact sports going forward, which is a bit of a bummer, but good thing his mom is the cross country coach lol
