I doubt its an early call-up barring injuries and how he performs.
I mean, the front 3 is locked in at Jimenez-De La Rosa-Chacin. Hammell is a solid #4, the other spot is iffy though as Cook is injured and has been on the decline, Esmil Rogers won the 5th starter out of lack of other decent options really.
So I guess if Rogers/Cook/Greg Reynolds/Paulino/John Maine end up crapping out, he can possibly get the call up.
I actually wouldn't mind an August call up, get him a few big league starts, then bullpen action in the playoffs if the Rockies make it.
