It was funny to start.... the Raji one was good..... now they just need to give it a rest. The Mathews one wasnt that good.

Refs also truly blew in this game...horribly. Jennings did fumble there, and there was no blow to the head with the 15 yd pass interference penalty. Both misques resulted in TDs.

how about the *censor* spot on the giants run on 3rd down early in the 2nd half

Yeah the refs were not on the giants side this game but Rodgers and the receivers made more than enough mistakes this game to make up for that.

Agreed the refs were horrible. They should never work a playoff game again.
And I won on the Giants

As a Giants fan, I'm used to most people not giving us a chance and then us pulling out an upset. Everyone remembers the 2007 superbowl but tends to forget the playoffs that year.

Not I. They beat Tampa, Dallas and Green Bay, all on the road
Green Bay did the same lat year
A realistic Packers fan ( like me) knew the playoffs were going to be an uphill battle, their offense was stellar but dear god that defense had sooooooo many holes in it.
You can only outscore your opponent for so long before a team figures you out an beats you, calling 1998 Vikings, 2007 Patriots, and now add in the 2011 Packers
And nice to see Kevin the Troll has crawled out from under his rock

Completely agree on this. I was going into the game thinking the Giants would have the upper hand because of our shatty defense. I knew it would come down to the Packers having to outscore the Giants, but with so many errant throws, fumbles and dropped passes, I knew the game was over after the first quarter. Congrats to the Giants. Now I will be rooting for them to win it all because then we can say that we lost to the Super Bowl champions.

Shut that door!

Says the guy who has no team in the play-offs. How's it feel to have all YOUR teams not get as far as all the Wisconsin teams? Ouch...

But agreed, no one should be too surprised that after playing like ass for the first quarter, they were done.

That TD they gave up right before halftime almost had me putting a remote thru my TV.

anyone watch Aaron Rodgers' post game press conference? I thought Rodgers showed a lot of class by not blaming his receivers but by saying that everyone didn't play as well as they needed to. He could have ripped them, because all those dropped passes really hurt them.

Most of the Packers fans at the office including myself knew the game would be a challenge given the Giants momentum and solid play on both sides of the ball. I do think the 2009 Colts and 2011 Packers show that "resting" your starting QB before a first round bye also means "rusting" your starting QB. I don't believe it is a wise decision.

The better team won, plain and simple (even though the officials tried to keep it close with absolutely some of the worst calls I've seen in a playoff game) . The Packers D was horrific all season (I heard mentioned on the after show that it was statistically the worst D in the history of the league giving up over 300+ yds a game) , and with no running game if the passes weren't clicking they were going to be in trouble. Thank you Giants for making my Sunday a little brighter by beating the Packers.
