Going to Boston, I need Ticket help! So, HELP!

Hey all, heading to Boston for the first time in September. Heading there for my birthday with my wife, should be a blast.

We are going to go to the games on Saturday and Sunday vs the Jays.

Can anyone give me some detailed help on the best seats for the $?

I would like to get good seats for one game (under $65 each) and one game with cheaper seats, but preferabley something fun? Like a cool bleacher section or something?

I would greatly appreciate your advice.

Look....This the way I see it. You, the wife, and your birthday in Boston......come on man just get the best seats you can get, even if they are pricey. Because your birthday and the Red Sox getting in the payoffs does not come long everyday.
I hope to make this trip one day in my life soon

Do not sit in RF if the seats are not facing home plate. You end up looking sideways the entire game and it is very hard to see over other peoples heads.

I don't think that you will find much under $65. My favorite seats are first base roof seats. Its a great place to see the whole field and you are close to the plate. They are similar to monster seats only they are closer to the plate and a third of the price.

You can basically check any seats to see what the obstructed view looks like. For what it's worth, lower bleachers are awesome, some of the very far back grandstands can get annoying, home plate SRO doesn't have a great view but is unique. Plus by September, our wheels are bound to start falling off, so ticket prices might get better, since we're really just a bunch of pink hat fans at the end of the day anyway. Personally, I prefer bleachers unless there's a good chance of rain, in which case I go for grandstands. Enjoy Fenway. It's a gem.

Matt, the best seats for the money in Fenway are the 3rd base grandstand tickets. Just make sure you don't get an obstructed view. They will probably be close to about 50ish a piece. The closer to home plate, the better. If you want to spend a few more bucks, you can get a pavilion box seat. They are upper seats, but the view is great and you are close enough so the guys don't look like ants. Try to get a lower pavilion box seat though so you are closer to home plate.

Another good option, if you can get them, are right field roof deck seats. They cost a little more, but they come with $25 worth of food with each ticket (they are either $100 or $125/ticket. The view is pretty awesome. To me, there is no other reasonably priced seat in the park at that price range. It has to be one of the most overpriced tickets in all of sports, for what you get. Pray you don't get two big dudes on either side of you and your wife though... The seating is very very TIGHT!

This is soooo true and your neck will not let you forget about the view the next day, trust me on that! Stay out of these seats!
