Mays is missing from the HOFers on the pull down menu. And i know he has a coin. So Mays is the SP.

I wish! I have 3. He is listed under the HOFers on my dropdown.

According to what I just posted (from the site), the "chase" coin is 1:6,666 codes... the odds of you getting 3 of the 30 is astronomical.

He's talking the COIN, not the auto.

I know. We were talking if the Mays coin was the chase coin. He said he has three... what I was saying is that the Mays must not be the chase coin, since having 3 of the chase coin would be highly unlikely at this point. There are 30 total Mays autos. 10 for each division of Coins (regular, HOF, etc). That means there is 1 chase coin per division that will only have 10 copies able to be unlocked. Usually - when someone refers to a "chase" object, it's the key to getting the prize.

Has anyone unlocked 200 coins this afternoon and received a message about winning a complete set? I unlocked over 200 by around 5pm EST, and didn't receive a message. I know I was probably too late, but here's to hoping.

Also, this enigmatic language is on the "How it Works" page: "To make the Golden Giveaway even more fun and to reward those that unlock codes quickly the first 100 people to unlock 200 unique coins will automatically win a 1/1 Topps Series 1 card embedded with a 14K piece of gold, the subject of card will be random."

To me, it looks like there are only 90 unique coins. I suppose they might have meant "unique items," so you could have any combo of unique coins and cards. It seems odd though that this 1/1 promotion is buried in the fine print, but there is no mention of the complete set prize mentioned on the front page. My guess is that they used an old version of the fine print, from before they abandoned a 1/1 prize idea.

I'm over 200 as well with no message about winning a set. I hope the 200 don't have to be within any individual category or I wouldn't have bothered buying up enough codes to get to 200.

Entered 250 codes so far (actually 247 plus the 3 freebies) and have unlocked 17 cards

Yogi Berra
Rod Carew
Chris Carpenter
Carlton Fisk
Tony Gwynn
Rickey Henderson
Ryan Howard
Reggie Jackson
Adam Jones
Mickey Mantle x2
Joe Mauer
Ozzie Smith
Warren Spahn x2
Stephen Strasburg
Justin Verlander

Has anybody unlocked any gold cards (either the gold base 2012 Topps cards or gold versions of these prize cards)?

This was posted on the Golden Giveaway Facebook page:

"Entered over 200 codes. I unlocked 9 cards and 204 coins. I contacted Topps and they said people who were the first 100 to unlock 200 coins will get an email within two weeks. Not sure at this point if these people will be getting the 100 card set AND a 1/1 gold embedded but after reading the rules, I believe this is the case. "
