I just can't see how a top flight athlete like Cam wouldn't know about his own father shopping him around. At some point, whether he overheard a conversation between his father and someone else, or from someone telling him, he had to of known.jet0002 said:And how are you so sure he did?mstng99tim said:Keep thinking that Cam didn't know.AUTaxMan said:mstng99tim said::lol:

Oh, there will be additional facts, I can guarantee you that. Just because he was ruled eligible doesn't mean that people still aren't digging for facts and clues in the matter.AUTaxMan said:mstng99tim said:Keep thinking that Cam didn't know.
At this point, it doesn't matter whether or not he knew. The NCAA has ruled on his eligibility. If additional facts come to light showing that he lied to the NCAA, maybe they'll vacate like they did with Bush.
To kept wondering what if is getting rediculous. At this point all we can do is go by the NCAA ruling. So either you believe you know something they don't or that there is some corruption between the NCAA and Auburn which is even more rediculous.mstng99tim said:I just can't see how a top flight athlete like Cam wouldn't know about his own father shopping him around. From what I have read, there will be additional facts, when that happens, I'm not sure, I'm not the one doing the investigating.AUTaxMan said:mstng99tim said:Oh, there will be additional facts, I can guarantee you that. There will be additional facts? Are you certain of that, or do you just want there to be? Why haven't they come to light yet? When will they?

I think it's a bit hypocritical of the NCAA to allow this, while students go through what they have to to keep their reps clean.
In my opinion it's not hypocritical at all.
Coaches are professionals working in their career. The players are magnificent athletes, but are still students.
Well, the telemarketer can't sell the company's computer they let him use, and the supervisor will get a bonus check when his team of salesmen perform well. That's how I look at it.HEAVYHITTER said:ffgameman said:HEAVYHITTER said:A bit off topic.... The problem I have with it is that the kids are punished for trading their rings/jerseys
yet the coach who is getting free stuff based off what the kids do for him is good to go.

Well, for one, Robert Smith of ESPN said during the post game coverage that big news is coming in the case. Secondly, I'm not sure if it's reputable or not, who's to say what is and what isn't reputable, but here: http://www.teamspeedkills.com/2011/1/12 ... going-awayAUTaxMan said:mstng99tim said:From what I have read, there will be additional facts, when that happens, I'm not sure, I'm not the one doing the investigating.
From what reputable news source have you read that there will be additional facts? Link please.

Yes. I will defend Auburn with facts while you prosecute them with wishes and speculation.
