how much do these sell for typically? they are numbered so high theres a ton of them, why does it fetch so much? up to over $30 already

Very popular set. I paid mid $40's for mine at auction. Even though there are 10k of 'em, they are still a tough pull. Just see how many are listed at any given time.

That is a '92.
'91 was the 1st year. The 91's have a brown-ish colored marble border. The 91's had the Sandberg auto, & the 92's had the Ripken auto.
