I saw one of the messages in that thread said last one sold for $275, is that right? That also seems very low

Ha Ha not a chance. That guy is smoking something about as crazy as the original seller. Last one sold for $2000 plus if I remember right, but it's been awhile ago, but a few guys on here have thrown out guarantees on the next one listed, so I expect the next one listed on open auction to be more like 5K to 10K

Now the last Crusade Red did bring $275, but it was Sosa, not Griffey

I've pondered the same thing with Clark, but I just can't give up on it yet, despite the crazy high prices Will Clark cards realize. Might throw out the Crusade Clark Set (extra) if the Griffey Red gets re-listed and brings a big number. I actually hope it does get listed and not ended early. It's been talked about for years around here, so even with the line, I think the interest would be huge.

Yeah, I didn't mean it as $275 w a "real" listing, I meant did someone sell w a BIN wo realizing at $275. Im not sure why I said that seems low as it i ciously is. 5-10k wow , that's quite a nice price if it goes that way.

On this $75 one for it to get posted to a card centered site like BO it seems really weird to not know it has value even w the line at multiples of the sale price

What would your guess be on a Crusade Red Griffey on open auction right now? You still have yours right?

The line definitely detracts from the card, but so many Griffey collectors want that card, it would still go for a pretty penny. Heck, maybe some Griffey collector's would prefer it, since the value would be lower and more could afford it.
