I think everyone here would question that Patch card. There were no patches for any other players, at least none that I have ever seen. Just because it came from ylaf doesn't mean it's legit. He bought anything and everything back in the day.

If it was legit, all the guys here would have been fighting to snag the one you bought and the other one ylaf currently has listed.

Do you guys have a sense of what YLAF was doing back in the day? I remember losing just about every nice auction to him, but they way he is selling off the farm now, it makes me think it was all just an investment play. Anybody have a read on whether he is a collector, or is just an investor who's selling off his horde now?

Num1JrFan -- thank you so much. I would have missed the re-list if not for you. It appears that he instead just realized the value of what he had and wanted to protect it in case of poor auction results. Let's hope he thinks my offer is competitive!

I agree that it's absolutely fake but if the op likes it for his personal collection .. More power to him. I would hope I never see it FS or if ever traded it's noted as such

No one knows,really like it,no for sale or trade ever mo because,just is for my pc,no one in here or over there worked on ud to say real or fake,they can only guess based on what any one belives,i belive is legit as i checked the card even with a microscope to see any rare damage or tampering and can find nothing,soo im happy with it,and dont really care what people say,i just collect patches from griffey and 2000 ud game jersey patches as im trying to make a set of those cards,i just enjoy collecting as anyone or almost anyone in here,im here to enjoy it,not point fingers this and that of yours is legit or not,no one knows and what can i say,im pretty sure is legit to me,not trying to change any bodys mind over it,as i told everyone im happy and thats what matters!

I was just giving an opinion. I understand where your coming from. It's simply something we'll probably not know the answer to. I myself have owned a few patch cards that said jersey but no longer maintain ownership
Stop trying so hard to justify it. Trying to convince us or yourself?

No one,just anwsering to a forum were 75% are always pointing fingers at other people stuff,no matter,my quest in this forum is over,and that was to try to find some 2000 patches and i did find a few!So call it a fake or legit,dont care,just were trying to post a few pics of my pc and thats it,not looking for opinions,really did you think i was angry or looking for relief from someone,NOPE,just in here to make a few bussiness conects and thats it. Good night and this is the last post i will post,nice meeting everybody and good luck with your conquests in card collecting!!

I haven't visited this site enough to know whether or not it's cool to mention when you've got a card for sale. But, I do have a pretty unique, special, rare Griffey card for sale on ebay right now. Obviously since I'm selling I'm hoping to sell for as much as possible, as such thought I'd let all you huge Griffey fans know. Happy bidding.
