A fake 2009 1989 Buy Back just surfaced. This guy has a ton of other very legit stuff, so this is a bit surprising. He is also a 0 feedback seller. I wonder if it is one of px23's other accounts, but it seems odd that he would have been duped into buying this and then selling it:

I just sent him a message through ebay, so hopefully he pulls it down so nobody gets duped by it. I'm sure it was an honest mistake.

It's px23 for sure, he tried selling me that 1/1 he has up. I know he's had problems with eBay in the past. My guess would be people complained about shipping. He used to charge $5, then he went free. Either way he still takes a while to ship.

Any chance the 1998 Masterpiece he has up is fake? I know the 1998 product had problems but it looks pretty legit.

I know the base are just flat/chrome cards, the luminescent have the refractor finish, and the illuminators are plastic/see-through with some refractory finish. This one appears to be see-through (some of the carpet shadows can be seen through the card) but maybe my mind is playing tricks on me. Any input?

I can definitely see through the card. You may have gotten a steal once you get it in hand - should be a fun package to open when it arrives.
