Hey guys. Ive just updated the griffey autograph site with the 2009 list of autographs he has. Can you please begin to send me some information on which ones you have so i can build links? Also, i know some of you have sold some autographs, so if you have a chance, look back at some of the pages and see which links are broken. Im going to do 1989-2001 now, but will take a break after that.

Anything else you want on the site, LMK! If you have any of the autos that had broken links before and are blank now, please let me know so i can link them to your buckets.

Thanks,

Guys,
I actually got all the way through checking links to all autographs through 2005. I will finish the rest tomorrow night.

Still want the Red Crusade.

Hi all
In my last attempt to pry the red crusade from anyone here or anyone who knows someone else who has one,

I am offering $4,000 worth of cards from my collection of any kind, inserts, autos, whatever.
I have only about 1/2 of the cards posted but will keep working on the site.

To protect the owner of the red crusade in this transaction, I would further state that both of us would have to agree on the evaluation of every card in the trade, so the individual feels like he is actually getting $4000 value in Griffey Jr cards.

I think this is a great opportunity for someone somewhere who doesn't care about the card as much as I do, or who has more than one???

I'm presently working on inserts and will do that thru the weekend- these are my most rare highest value inserts.

Again the link to the website is http://s199.photobucket.com/albums/aa281/srbrinn1/Griffey Collection/

and please keep in mind I have tons of cards still to post. Besides the fantastic inserts, I have other great cards like 1/1 2007 Exquisite 4 Auto (Griffey Jr, Jeter, Ripken Jr, and Matsuzaka), many other 1/1 cards, very special cards like 1988 Best Platinium San Bernardino Spirit #1 PSA 8 Griffey Jr, THE ENTIRE SET OF 2004 (ALL 11 CARDS INC. HAWAIAN SPECIAL CARD) GUJ CARDS WITH AUTOS AND LOGO PATCHES including the /10 HOF Numbers auto cards), and lots of other special stuff.

I would give up $4000 in value of these types of cards for the Red Crusade.

I'll keep posting and catching up the site and if anyone is interested or know of an interested party, please contact me by private message here in the Griffey thread.

Thanks to all
Steve Brinn

What would Griffey's top 10 90s inserts be(excluding autos and excluding grade premium), and what $ do you think they would bring?

Here's a start?

1993 refractor
1996 select mirror gold
1997 Totally Certified Platinum Gold
1997 Finest Embossed Refractor

Anyone know what a good price is for the 09 Griffey 89 UD buyback/where to get a hold of one? If I remember, it was far lower than the $2000 that one guy has on eBay, and he doesn't seem to need to sell for market price. Thank you in advance.

They typically sell all over the place between $600 and $1200

Love that jumbo patch /5 up there. Every time I look through this thread, it almost makes me want to start player collecting Griffey again. Still holding onto my autos. Anyone know an easy way to get rid of a bunch of inserts/base without using ebay? I bet I've got at least 1k wth no dupes. Here's about 250 of them group scanned:

Or I'll trade them all for a nice Griffey auto. :)

That Gold Power Alley Di Cut is awesome. I've never even seen one of those. I remember pulling a Jeter back in the day, but I thought it was green. How rare are the Golds?

Thanks.

That is way overpriced. I would guess $100 max.[/quote:16sgfwa2]
it might reach close to 300
