Hey guys. I have posted here a couple times, but not very often. I go by user name dr_mccarthy on ebay. A lot of you have bought Griffey cards from me, and vice versa. Anyways, there is some lowlife on ebay right now trying to sell a fake 2009 1989 Griffey Buyback. Here is the link:

As most of you guys know, these cards came with a matching COA card with matching hologram. The real ones have been documented, since they have been found to follow a sequence in their numbering, summarized here:

2009 1989 UPPER DECK BUYBACK RC AUTO KEN GRIFFEY #1 (06/17/2010)...

I asked this seller to remove his/her listing, and he/she would not comply, telling me that I was the one that was wrong. Ridiculous. I ask you board members to please report this listing to ebay. I just would absolutely hate for some poor kid to spend his/her Christmas money on a bogus card like this.

Oh, and to reply to an earlier comment on this thread. I sold that 1998 Retro Quantum Leap Griffey. Ran it a few times through the auction, then eventually took an offer of $450 for it. I also sold the 1997 and 1998 Donruss Preferred Precious Metals Griffeys for $1000, after giving them a couple runs on ebay. I am selling off a huge portion of my collection, slowly but surely. I've decided to concentrate on just buying the 90's Griffey autos, as well as a few others here and there.
