It is. Normally the Jersey Numbers cards have 00/00 on the back, and I have heard that some Griffeys exist that are /24, but I have never seen one. I think that scan is from you and has no numbering on the back, like the base cards.

Here are all of the Griffey scans I have from that set:

Spikes, what are you looking for on the back?

Because the one I have is hand numbered 21/24 on the back. I bought it back in 1999-2000 on ebay. Was wondering!

I think this device used to be called a phone; don't know anymore!

MP speaks the truth here, anything hand numbered on Ebay needs to be double, triple, quadruple checked...then post here about it.

It's way too easy for some kid to take a sharpie or gold pen and write his own number on it, especially the older super short printed inserts. It's really a shame because it ruins the card which a true collector would be grateful to have in the PC :(

Thats the reason I asked. Then again as I mention I bougth it on ebay back in 1999-2000. Nothing was known about these cards then. Also I got it for like $20 back then. Also the seller should had numbered 24/24 instead 21/24. He probably would had makeam extra $5. :D

1990 Donruss Red/Red Test - 2 Griffey's

Check out this one of a kind Ken Griffey Jr.

It's 1990 Donruss Test RED/RED. It has 2 griffey's.

Most likely they will be going up for auction this next week on eBay & as a collector myself I am in awe of the story behind these.

Here are some links you can forward on & look at.

Youtube video: 1990 Donruss Red/Red Test Uncut Sheet - 500 Times As Rare As Aqueous! - YouTube

Here's the full sheet: http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/kcebay/Shiny-Full-Sheet.JPG
Here's a close-up picture: http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/kcebay/Shiny-Ken-Griffey.JPG

Please contact me at [email protected] if you know any big collectors that would be interested in something of this rarity.

Thanks,

Garry

PM sent @PaPa

Thought I'd start sharing at least 1 PC favorite insert a week, haven't seen this one for a long time.

2001 Donruss Elite Title Waves HoloFoil First /100 were coated in refractor like coating.

Guess I missed it on this set. So the first 100 in the serial number are considered the HoloFoil? Wondered why these 2 looked so different

@coqxxx4

Yeah first 100 are considered /100 as they are HoloFoil and the rest are not printed with that coating.

They are pretty hard to come by since most didn't know they were a SP variation.
