And yes...the Gems Gold will be going to PSA with my next batch sent out :) Not sure what I'll do if it's not a 10 haha.

From a PC standpoint here and possibly as just a card collector, I must say that the refractors with out the peel; mind you that that peel does in fact say "Remove protective coating" look 100% better, especially slabbed forever in a PSA/BGS case.

Picked up a few interesting 88-89 cards today, most notably a 88-89 Nova Promo Glossy PSA 8. There are two versions of this card, a matte finish and Glossy, PSA grades both. I have both versions in PSA 8, if folks are interested in seeing some scans I can post them later.

I also picked up an 89 Playball Griffey BGS 9. The interesting thing about this card is that it is licensed by MLB, it has their logo on the front and back. Because this card is licensed, Becket will grade it. I've never seen another like it, really interesting card.

I love finding out about new cards to chase, especially his rookie year.

Another round of 90s boxes, another Griffey:

Just like the Fleer Brilliants boxes, I wanted the rarest Griffey, but ended up just short. I was hoping for the embossed gold ref, but got the regular gold ref. It's still nice to pull him after all these years...
