Magic- Nice story about 1993 Finest. Awesome looking cards. I liked 1994 Finest a lot too, partly because Jim Thome was in that set. Cool looking Jr. die-cut card also.

heres a Thome fer ya ;)

I'm eventually going to every finest base set together, one of my favorite products. Never opened a box of 93 finest though that's on my list! Also to get a run of PSA 10 Griffey refractors

I use to have a nice Griffey collection and one of my favorite cards was a 1991 Topps All Star Ken Griffey Jr on front and a 1990 Topps Football Jim Arnold (my dad's name) on the the back. I just came across 2 auctions on ebay with the exact same card and I wondered how many there might actually be:

That is at least 3 that I am aware of. How many of you Griffey collectors have this exact card?

Interesting; I've never seen or heard of this error - curious to see if any other guys have one.

Speaking of curiosity, what happened to your Griffey collection? I recognize your ID from posts in this thread from years back. Good to also see a Kentucky guy on here! Grew up in Louisville, have some good friends from Owensboro.

My friends father used to do printing for Topps in that time period. He said they used to mix front and backs on purpose all the time. Like a baseball front/ football back. He has sheets of random "errors"like this

I've never seen a Griffey but there's a Craig Biggio front/Bruce Matthews back on comc. It's neat but I'm not paying the $20 they have listed.

I sold some of the best ones...1989 Topps Heads Up Test, 1993 Pinnacle Cooperstown Promo, 1994 Topps Superstar Samplers. I still have a large box of Griffeys that I have not gone through in awhile. I changed my focus to Albert Pujols in 2001 when eTopps released.

Looks like this one ended up getting relisted. Will be interesting to see what it goes for this time. A green went for $500+ a few months ago, so always shocked at the price on these for being /250.

Surprised no one is talking about the Crusade Red xx/25 promo card that finished recently...

there was some discussion about the Crusade Red xx/25 promo on the 90's thread,
yes the Crusades have been CRaZY

Seems like the replacement package was pretty nice.
