Very nice Bruce! On-card auto in a Sox uni.

Thanks. I was, along with most other Griffey collectors, hoping Griffey would've been in a Mariners uniform.

Yeah, I know. I'm part of the 1% that likes him in the Sox uni. Is that the only on-card auto of him in the Sox uni?

No, the Sports Royalty has him in a Sox jersey as well, I'm still waiting on that one to arrive.

Classic old school Griffey Promo (UD Fun Packs) kind of fitting as he always seemed to have fun playing

Are these 2 cards one in the same, just different lighting?
Also, some people list it as 1996 and others 1997, and most people list a 1996 that looks way different?
I only see one of each year listed in beckett

Well, that scan came from my bucket and I've got it listed as a 1996 card. They're one in the same as well, I don't believe there were any variations issued.

I know it came from your bucket, you told me to look at your bucket to see what designs I liked, awhile back ago when I enquired of any "must have" inserts. :P
Does magicpapa have a bucket, or any other links of lots of inserts? I love this stuff.

just an fyi, i only see 1 1996 titantic taters and 1 1997 titanic taters in beckett, and 3 people have this card listed as the 1996

Do both cards say 1996 on the back, and if so, i wonder if one was near a 1997 release, so it is listed in beckett as a 1997?

The buyback fakes are geting worse. 6079audrey is getting clever now, he has sold at least 2 of the fakes before. Now this, it has a COA

[ebay:3biuy57u]160346420128[/ebay:3biuy57u]

Notice that the COA does not say AUTOGRAPHED 1989 Rookie Card like the real one,

Just landed another one of the Hard to get 2008 ud heroes navy blue auto/jersey serial #10 of Ken Griffey Jr. I have all six of the auto serial: Purple #5, Red #10, Beige #15, Gray #25, Navy Blue #35 and Black #75. Auto/jersey cards: Navy Blue #10, Red #25, Light Blue #50 (only missing the Emerald/Jersey #5). Auto/Patch #25 currently one on eBay. So I'm currently 9 of the 11! Best regards, David

Looks like they are using the ones from the Gold BuyBacks....At least make the auto look respectable

Have never seen one go that high before. One in great condition ended for $1300 a couple of years ago. Usually a 9 won't bring more money then a raw card.
