This is not the pack pulled card. It was made from a not completed sheet that was ripped off from Fleer.

Do you know that because it doesn't have the Legacy Collection blue foil stamp on the back? Just curious.

No the card isn't technically "fake", as in the actual printing of the card. The serial numbering and foil name is fake, making it hard to really gauge how many are out there.

Are there 200 of each out there, between the two? Are there just some randomly stamped ones?

It's too questionable for my taste.

The card should have his name on back in blue foil and the numbering should be like the one Magic posted. These cards still sell for a good price, even when the seller list what they are.

What's going on guys? I am back in NC and just got internet today. I haven't picked up anything lately but I did buy a box of 1997 EX-2000 and pulled a Griffey Cut Above card. I rarely pull anything Griffey so this was a nice pull. No scan right now, still unpacking.

UD short printed 20 variant cards, with one from each of Griffey's seasons, and made them all #855. The card you have has a BV of $40. Nice pull!

Aside from the black stitch 1/1, do any of you guys find it a coincidence that this guy has several 1/1 autographs? I could be completely wrong but something doesn't seem right http://shop.ebay.com/dbw79/m.html?_nkw= ... m270.l1313

I looked up a couple of them on Beckett and could not get a match on the buybacks.

Was he a collector like YLAF? One of those guys in the past that used to buy everything Griffey.. Especially the high end stuff..

I think that I know who it is, but not sure. If it is them they were a very big Griffey buyer and did not research items very well. Look at the user name and you can probably figure it out.
