I've seen a 27 K performance before. It was a Yankee named Steve Nebraska. It was amazing.

1. I was talking about Strasburg getting a 27K gametrademhigh said:Fixedscotty21690 said:I believe it has happened in the minor leagues once. Would be pretty cool to see....I guess we will have to wait until LaPorta gets called up to the bigs to see it happen.aw00d05 said:I'd say 27 strikeout is less likely than this, that would be AMAZING though to watch...Even though they would probably have to give up 10 runs to do it.scotty21690 said:I would think it's equivilent to say...a 27 strikeout performance.Reds in 2009 said:It will never happen.
They are both possible, but the odds are extremely slim.![]()

This is true. The batter has to have a lot of luck a lot of skill and their teammates to be on also...17ROCKIES12 said:To do it you would need a lot of baserunners (which requires bad pitching), several atbats (bad pitching), and of course bad pitching. If several have hit four in a game I think it will happen with awful pitching, but it could easily take 100 years.
If the game evolves in the next 100 years as much as it did in the past 100 years it will happen annually, but the way things are now it will just take a full moon and whole lot of luck.scotty21690 said:This is true. But if you think about it homeruns are more common then they were back in the day, we do see a lot of multi homerun games and there has been over a dozen 4 HR games....Sure it's a reallyyyy small chance it will happen but it is possible. Everything has to right all in the same game. It would be quite a feat
:lol:trademhigh said:"The reason I have been pitching poorly is because I am trying to allow a player to hit for the home run cycle. The Yankees are too stupid to realize that that's what I am trying to do (despite me hand motioning to Girardi, Molina, and Posada to try and break the language barrier), and the hitters cannot hit many home runs off me for whatever reason." This was translated from Japanese and was said by Chien-Ming **** after his 3rd straight poor performance. When the Japanese reporter asked if he would try and do this during his 4th start, **** replied "No comment."

I remember ESPN and other sport channels all went to Cameron's at bat.
