I remember a year ago at this time the feeling was that the Exquisite Patch/Auto's /225 were simply a lower class than the /99's. Examples were shown to illustrate that /99's have gone for huge numbers, while /225's never did. The counterargument was that while there is obviously a difference between /99 and /225, a large part of the discrepancy was because the quality of player to that point in the /99 blew the quality of player in the /225 sets, and if a real star emerged from the /225 players, it would do quite well.
Looking this year and at Russell Westbrook especially it seems like the line between /225 and /99 has lessened. His Exquisite is getting over $500, which is more than Deron Williams /99 has sold for in recent listings (even before surgery.)
This is what I've been seeing. Anyone agree, disagree?
(On a side note, if someone has a Deron Williams Exquisite Patch/Auto /99 that they might move, let me know...)
