Pretty sure that this is the first sighting of the card, at least to my limited knowledge. It makes you wonder if there is a collector out there with the Longo Super sitting in his PC or sell case that nobody knows about. This card and the Longo have fueled sales for 06 BDP for the past year.

I mean, I think the only logical explanation is that the card hasn't been pulled or that its in some kid's collection and he has no clue what he has. I mean think about it...even if you pulled the card and weren't selling....wouldn't you show it off? Be it a scan on a message board or somebody in the collecting community seeing this card in a case or knowing its in somebody's private collection?markakis8 said:That's cringe-worthy

You mean investors, not collectors right?

There are plenty of Longoria collectors now, I would say it would save plenty of collectors money as well.

I know this is the mentality of a lot of high-end pack busters- this is what drives the massive cracking of wax by the rich- they are searching for that huge hit. This is what makes plenty of singles available to the collectors of the world. If the massive crackers don't bust, it makes it a lot tougher to find those singles FOR collectors.
Everyone is benefitted by this except the card companies and retailers, who want you to think the big hit is still there so you continue to bust the product.
You know what I mean- once the mt rushmore cut auto has been pulled, once that George Washington cut auto has been pulled, once that dual Ruth/Gehrig cut has been pulled, the specific product starts to lose the excitement for the big crackers......
I mean, really, if I told you that every single BIG cut auto from legendary cuts had already been pulled, would you even think about buying a box to open? The product essentially is horrible otherwise for the current prices.
Now, I can see that all the big superfractors have been pulled from 2006 bowman chrome - this makes me less likely to purchase a box.
Those crazy guys on youtube - attyball23, they have cracked nearly 250 cases of 2009-10 exquisite basketball, and they are still searching for that elusive Jordan/tiger dual auto, and the Jordan/lebron dual logoman auto. That's what drives them to continue cracking after 250 cases. If they knew all the big pulls were gone, they would stop cracking.
Who has benefitted from all their busts? Other collectors around the world. Imagine if they didn't open anything and 250 cases worth of exqsuisite singles were left in sealed cases in major wax dealers warehouses, being held hostage for $2200 a case- most of these singles would never hit the market for collectors.
