So I make some trades to add some draft picks and hopeful rebuild my team over the next 2-3 years.

My team is:

QB: Palmer and Leinart
RB: McFadden, Bush, Slaton, Danny Ware and Rashard Jennings
WR: Burelson, James Jones, Devin Thomas, Brandon Gibson, Dwayne Jarret, Collie, Mark Clayton
TE: Greg Olsen, Shancoe
K: Kaeding
DT: Eagles

I have picks #5, 6, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 23 in our rookie and waiver wire draft. The only players availabe (non-rookies) that are worth draft are Devin Aromashadu, Doucet, Mike Thomas, Adrian Foster....10 teams we each keep 21 players.

I also added more picks in next year's draft. I will have 3 1st rd picks. Hopefully draft Ingram, A Green and Julio Jones...

I was thinking of drafting Ben Tate and Demeryius Thomas at 5-6. Wanted to Jermaine Gershum or Bradford at 12. At picks 14, 16, 18, hoping to land Mike Williams, Eric Decker, Carlton Mitchell or J Dwyer.

I was trying to trade into picks 3 (this owner also has pick #8) or 4 and wanted to draft Best or Spiller. Would it make sense to package Slaton and #5/6 and move up? This owner would be able to land Tate.

What do you guys think? Any feedback would be appreciated. Again, I am NOT trying to compete THIS year. Want to land the best players so I can compete in 2 years.

well i would get Doucet for sure.... you should have never traded your receivers for a second tight end... dumb move (sorry, but it is) i would try to draft Bryant, Tate, and maybe Benn although rookie receivers hardly ever have big years. For rb's id draft them in this order..... Mathews, Best, Spiller... downside on spiller is the Bills have Lynch and Jackson already so i think Spiller will split carries this year, Long term, he is a better pick then Best.

Chester Taylor in Chicago may be a smart pick-up as Forte will be on a short leash! Larry Johnson and Parker in Washington might be available for this coming year only as temp. fixes.

Trade one of your tight ends for a starting receiver if possible.... its hard to recommend any more moves without seeing the free agents.... Shiancoe has more upside for trade and Olsen should have a solid year under Martz's offence.

I didn't trade WRs for TEs. I trade my WRs for draft picks in next years draft. I am NOT trying to compete this year, I am trying to add the best talent even if it means waiting 2 years for the player to develop.

Are you thinking at all about Aromashadu?? I've heard nothing but great things about him. Not only is he going into that magical 3rd year as a WR but he will have Culter throwing to him for the foreseeable future. It seems like he is certainly inline to be an above average WR in the next few years.

I probably wouldn't take him at 5 or 6 but if he's around at like the 12 or 14 pick I would certainly look at him.
