Sorry I didnt get any PMs. Not sure how to access?

Also to clarify, it wasnt a direct threat to my family. Im sorry. Dont mean to create more drama. It was said that Id better think twice before leaving neutral/neg fb and that if I f'd with their business and how they make a living they could easily find out where I live and come beat the XXXX out of me. There was another similar and more than a few that were just vulgar. I take someone threatening to come to my house as a threat to myself and my family. But no one directly said they would do anything to my wife or kids or anything like that. Nonetheless I think thats ridiculous and it was upsetting for my wife to read. Esp since one of those members appear to live somewhat close

I have since spoken to ebay and they are monitoring my account. If it goes any further Im contacting the police. Again...the ones that say "im blocking you" "you're an *******" whatever, I dont care about and didnt report anything like that. Its when you threaten me or my family directly or indirectly that you're crossing the line. Especially over something like and especially when you werent even involved. I know those people must be reading this so Im warning you to stop it now.

Access under the top of your screen where it says "notifications"

As to the threats, that is crazy... not cool at all

So you define "games" as negotiating under eBay's system? Remember, these 2 offers were a decent amount of time between each other.

No. I care more about the pill bug population in my flowerpots than I do about this non-transaction. So I'm not defining anything. I do however find it hilarious that a 3 page (and counting) thread was started to block an eBayer over an $8 transaction.

If you look strictly at the monetary value, you will only see the ridiculousness of it all. What if it were an $80 transaction? Then can I throw out a warning? If you can't look past that, then don't bother reading. Clearly you have nothing to worry about.

Well, I personally would HATE it if my feedback were damaged over such a small transaction. These are the ones we are SUPPOSED to simply suck up, and eat the cost or whatever. Too bad the seller wasn't going to be given the chance by the buyer.

But I think the buyer has made a decent attempt to ease some fears. I won't be blocking him, since I don't think he'll be so quick to throw out a negative in conversation and he seems to have truly meant no ill intent (or at least not been aware he was being "harsh").

For me, blocking a guy would take something on the level of that f*ckbag who cut up that Pujols Orange refractor and then claimed INAD.

Ugh, don't remind me of that. That was horrible.

Don't worry about it, lol. I love good humor even if its at my expense.

You do know that you are resposible for the emails and messages getting sent to this person. Without your post and a little better communication with the buyer none of this would have ever happened. I think we may have just opened up a plot for a new franklin & bash.

You pretty much nailed it with I wasnt aware that I was being that harsh. Even though I was wrong to assume he was f'ing with me, and I should've approached him differently/better to ask about it. I truly didnt mean to be harsh. If it means anything, my motive and intent was not as bad as my actions may have been.

I realize Im new here and reluctant to post anything negative about a senior member (and Im also not very keen on bumping a thread that says to block me, lol) but IMO I personally do not see much difference between a neutral feedback on ebay and posting a block ebayer message in a forum. I think that in either case both parties should really try to work it out themselves before taking that next step. Especially since he didnt tell me where he was posting or anything. The nasty emails have stopped, but if I wasnt able to track down this forum and thread, they would probably still be continuing.

I hope Im not opening a new can of worms. I think we've established that my thinking may be at least a little misguided, so Im sorry if Im wrong. He never intended or condoned some of the messages I received and cant be held responsible for actions of others, but yea, he was a cause of them. In law, there is proximate cause and cause in fact. If a guy robs you and pulls a gun, telling you to "Freeze" and while standing there an unrelated drunk driver plows into you, who's fault is it? Obviously the drunk driver is legally responsible for his own actions. And, the car accident was not a foreseeable consequence of the mugger's actions. However, you would not have been standing in that spot if not for the mugger. (Just trying to illustrate a point. OP isnt guilty of the messages I rec'd, but is a cause of them)

BTW, what is the "cut up Pujols Orange Refractor" that people are talking about?

You've taken a lot stronger lumps than a lot of new members encounter when they arrive, but hopefuly you'll stick around and contribute. Your grammar and spelling capabilities alone make you stand out from the rest of the people who have a small amount of posts.
