You have given your opinions and we have listened.

I have the card to post but not sure how to add an image. Need help.

Brian Price

Most people upload the picture to a website such as photobucket or flicker. They copy and paste the "img" into the page and post. If that does not work I am online at [email protected] and can post for you.

Here's how I do it:

- Go here: http://imageshack.us/

- Click "Browse"

- Find the image you want to post and double click it

- Click "upload now"

- Go down to "forum code", copy what's in the box to the right and paste in here.

I hope this helps. Always looking forward to more pictures.

I am all ears to comments and suggestions about how to make the products you want to collect.

I have been a collector for more than 50 years and continue to collect.

I realize that we have to make cards for you and that listening is a big part of that.

However, I think there is a way to suggest and even criticize that doesn't involve an all out attack on our reputations.

I have been making trading cards for 20 years dating back to the time I brought back the Parkhurst name in hockey, so I do have some experience, am I always right. Not even close, no one is.

When we first thought about entering this market, we were told by collectors that a choice when buying baseball cards would be welcomed. We are doing are best to give collectors a choice.

Will our product be for everyone, certainly not. But I find the attacks in some of the posts disheartening.

Now before you take this post and slam me, I think I too am allowed to speak my mind as you have.

For those who are interested in our product, don't judge it by one card. Please visit our website and checkout the checklists and images posted.

I am just asking for a fair shake in baseball and from baseball card collectors, that's all.

Brian Price

It's just a few bad apples, Mr. Price. Don't mind them. Their existence on this board seems mainly to instigate and antagonize. Let it roll off your back and just do the best you can. Listen to the constructive, ignore the antagonistic. I'm sure Brian Gray will attest to focusing too much on those few bad apples in the past.

Yes, only listen to those who heap praise upon your product and state how wonderful it is, and don't listen to those who have criticisms at all. I mean, look at how Razor did under that marketing plan, with their 2009, 2010, and 2011 Signature Series.

Oh...wait...

Is anybody interested in a Fleer Legacy Autographed Game-Used Baseball of Cal Ripken numbered /8. I got this out of a case I opened I believe in 2004 from the product where you get an autographed baseball and cards in the box.

i hate to be "that guy" but im just not a fan of the design, no offence, but it just needs more color, or something

I love the throwback black and white pictures for the background.

Especially considering it makes the patch that much more vibrant.

And like someone else mentioned earlier, I like the variety.

I would absolutely love to have this Sandberg in my collection. What a fantastic card! Please note that I am saying this even though I generally dislike any and all products that lack MLB licensing and have zero such cards in my collection other than a few Elite rookies of Cubs prospects and some older oddball Cubs cards.

Yes, it sucks that we can't legally use a photo of Cal with that card in this circumstance. Here are a couple of players that are in this set that we can use images of.

And keep the comments coming. It doesn't matter if the feedback is positive or negative, surely there is something we can learn from each poster on here.

Whose idea was it to make the "cut check" cards of prospects?

They should be fired.

Just out of curiosity, what does your avatar say? It looks like it says, "ALL YOUR ACE ABE BELONG TO US."

Great. He's a collector. Collectors don't always make the best decisions (hi Bri!) in regard to making their own cards . . . and whose to say that this collector is utilizing legitimate memorabilia in his cards? Being a collector -- even a major collector -- doesn't win him any awards.

I said above that this is a minor card company. You jumped in and, I guess, called me insane and uneducated. I'll accept half of that. I've got some degrees that show otherwise, but so be it. Now you're admitting that they're a minor card company. sigh... ::facepalm::

Instead of spouting-off your misguided opinions, try bringing some facts to the table. Why don't you show us all the instances that ITG has had questionable game-used material on their cards and compare that information to all the times the "major" companies you keep referencing have had questionable game-used material on their cards. Show us some facts or shut the frack up.

Show me the proof that he is utilizing legitimate memorabilia in his cards. I didn't say he was, I didn't say he wasn't. I simply stated that there's no proof he is.

This has nothing to do with "major" companies. I didn't reference the major card comapnies.

Is it possible for you to post without using vulgarity?[/quote:1pkx5kkm]

You are the one questioning the validity of ITG memorabilia cards, not me. It's on you to have some facts to back-up your opinions. Nice try to pass it off on me though. lol ::facepalm::

Oh...wait...

At least make your shots at me directly and not in this thread.

Dr. Price is a great guy trying to make his mark in the category.
I ended up choosing a different route (which should be apparent soon).
I respect Brian entering this difficult category.
I wish him luck and wish all would let him suceed or fail on the merits of the acutal products.

P.s.- Mr. Price is above reproach when it comes to integrity. Calling his memorabilia into question not justified, IMO.

would you collect the standard jersey autograph?

Chris, I probably would not chase a version with a standard Jersey. It would be a solidly designed card, but I generally only collect patch autos because of their relative scarcity and on card autographs.

Clearly you don't understand my point. You are the very people I'm referencing when bringing up the description "antagonistic". It's one thing to be constructively critical, and then there is you.

To my knowledge, there are currently two manufacturers who have put themselves continually in front of everyone in the hobby...ITG and Leaf/Razor. In doing so, both entities have made it very clear that they stand behind the authenticity of everything they release and will (and do) resolve any items that come into question.

Since the birth of ITG, when they set up at a show, Brian Price is there...at the booth, talking to his customers and listening to the positives and negatives.

I can't fathom why you would be questioning the authenticity of the items when nothing in the company's history would imply any issues.

Until he sees youtube videos of Brian Price taking the jersey's off the players backs, cutting them up and placing them on the cards he will assume they are all fake because thats the only way to "really" know if they are legit.

Patch cards and multiple auto cards are my exception to the on card rule if the sticker autos are at least somewhat integrated into the card design.
